22nd May 2010 — Annual Sponsored Walk

Our Annual Sponsored Walk will be taking place on Saturday 22nd May 2010. The following walks will be walking from around the Diocese into the Cathedral where they will be greeted with a welcome cup of tea and ploughman’s lunch:

10th June 2010 — Childcare Charity Golf Day

This will be held at Stockbrook Manor Golf & Country Club, Billericay on Thursday 10th June 2010. The cost is £50 per person (£200 for a four ball) and will include:

• Bacon Rolls / Tea & coffee in morning
• 18 holes of Golf
• Lunch – served in the Rosewood Suite

19th June 2010 — Charity Shindig

We will be holding a 'Charity Shindig' on Saturday 19th June in the marquee at the Halfway House, Brentwood. This will be an Irish themed event featuring Joe Giltrap as the main artist along with a traditional Celil Band and Irish Dancers.

Tickets will cost £20 per person and will include a light buffet supper and the evening will be rounded off with a 'sing-a-long'!

3rd July 2010 — Annual Colourthon

Join Olympic Swimmer and Strictly Come Dancing’s, Mark Foster and Channel 4's top TV game show Countdown's Rachel Riley on this annual walking spectacle.

Experience Southend from a unique perspective and raise much needed funds for Childcare as you join hundreds of others and walk together under the night sky.

Skydiving — Volunteers needed!!

Are you up for a challenge? Are you looking for a new experience in 2010?

Sign up now and start fundraising to take part in one of our SKYDIVING events and raise much needed funds for Childcare.

Events are held most weekends around the country and our nearest centre is Headcorn in Kent.

Voluteering - your chance to give something back

Charity Volunteering can be a lot of fun and a great way to make new friends. It could also help you to learn new skills and gain valuable work experience.

Help is always needed and we really do need your support. With Christmas fast approaching we are looking for people who will give a little of their time and help us on the numerous fundraising initiatives we have planned.

Whether you have two hours, a morning or one day a month to spare we would really appreciate your help!
