Childcare were proud to hold their first Charity Irish Night at The Halfway House Marquee in Brentwood.

The event was attended by 130 guests including Mayor and Mayoress Kenny and their family and fellow councillors, who were entertained by a 6 piece Ceili band called Arthur Doo Irish Folk band and were more than well entertained by an amazing world class dancing performance by McGahan Lees Irish Dancing Academy.

Guests received a wonderful 4 course Irish meal and wine and were able to bid on some amazing auction lots including a signed Arsenal shirt, signed London Irish shirt, private flight in a plane, trip to Wimbledon in a Rolls Royce!

The event was a great success for Childcare raising over £4,500 for the charity to continue its important working helping thousands of children throughout Essex and parts of East London.
