Students demonstrate their business know-how for just £10

In February and March Shenfield High School participated again in the £10 challenge Business enterprise fundraising event with their Year 8 and Year 7 groups respectively.

7 groups from year 8 worked really hard over the 2 weeks marketing their ideas such as a lunchtime cinema, personalised cookies, selling their products during lunchtime and raised over £600 profit.

19 groups from year 7 decided to beat the new record and came up with varied fundraising ideas from washing 6th formers cars, personalised mothers day and Easter cards, raffles, competitions......and raised a staggering £1,200 profit.

Over the 3 events already taken place over 100 children at Shenfield High school have participated and have gained valuable business skills from this project and over £2,000 profit has been raised to support the work of the society, helping local children and families throughout Essex.

A big thank you to all the pupils and staff of Shenfield High school for their enthusiasm, committment and generosity.
